• Barry Says: "I have been making telescopes for over fifty years, but when the opportunity arose to build a telescope around a fast 710 mm mirror by Steve Kennedy of California, I chose to have it made by Peter Read. The mirror is superb and the finished telescope fully deserves the same description. I called the instrument 'Compulsion' because everyone who comes near it experiences a Compulsion to observe."
